Today I tackled painting my bedroom. The color is Suede Gray from BEHR.

New Home

I recently purchased a 1916 bungalow in NE Portland.  I've always wanted to start a blog, but was never able to narrow down what I wanted to blog about.  As I was spending the day working on projects around the house I thought to myself, "why not blog about all of my projects I will be doing to make my new house my home?"  I typically mix many styles in my decorating and have found that I enjoy taking vintage, salvaged or old items and re-inventing them to fit my style.  I am a do-it-yourself girl, although I often get frustrated with projects and wish I could snap my fingers and be done.  With that being said, I hope some of these projects will inspire you or at least give you the chance to learn from my mistakes.
